The Cicerone Method

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

At The Cicerone Method, we take your privacy and data security seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and handle your information when you use our website, diagnostic tools, the classic portal, the Cicerone web app, and the Cicerone Android app (together, "the apps").

1. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide a personalized execution experience:

2. How We Store Your Data

Your personal dashboard data is stored using Supabase (a secure cloud database built on AWS). Access to your personal data is restricted using database Row-Level Security (RLS), ensuring that only you can access or modify your records.

While account data is stored securely in the cloud, standard diagnostic quiz results and browser sessions may be stored locally on your device for immediate convenience.

3. Third-Party Integrations

We partner with trusted third-party providers to handle key functions:

4. Your Rights and Control

You have complete control over your account. You can edit your content and reset your password at any time.

Account deletion: you can permanently delete your account yourself from inside the app: open the Cicerone app, go to Settings, and choose "Delete account". This erases all of your data from our database (profile, wins, mission, synced app data, push subscriptions, reports you filed on AI responses, and stored emails) and deletes your login. It cannot be undone. If you prefer, email support@theciceronemethod.com and we will delete it for you.

Cancelling your subscription: if you subscribed on our website, deleting your account also cancels that subscription automatically. If you subscribed through the Android app, your subscription is held by Google Play and we cannot cancel it for you: please cancel it yourself in Google Play subscriptions, otherwise Google will keep billing you even after your account here is deleted. You can also reach both options from Settings in the app.

On-device data (Android): the Android app keeps your day-to-day data (protocol runs, journal notes, chat history) in a local database on your device. Uninstalling the app removes that local data.

Children: our products are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
